End Modern Slavery Now!
A Women's Founded Movement to
End Modern Slavery
The End Modern Slavery Now movement is a survivor-led, women-founded initiative dedicated to ending modern slavery through demanding mandatory supply chain transparency labeling on all products. The foundation of this movement is Transpara-Trade, a survivor-developed solution to end modern slavery and the climate crisis through reformed global economic frameworks and supply chain transparency labeling.
Supporters can join the cause by using hashtags like #EndModernSlaveryNow and #TransparaTrade to raise awareness. The movement's annual event aligns with women's day on March 8th uniting women worldwide in demanding supply chain transparency in their country. This event will continue each year until all nations have joined the Transpara-Trade system with the effort to End Modern Slavery by 2030
A Survivors Mission
TRANSPARENCY
& ACCOUNTABILITY
The End Modern Slavery Now Movement was founded by Nasreen Sheikh, a survivor of modern slavery. Nasreen’s personal experiences have driven her to dedicate her work to this cause. Nasreen is at the forefront of the movement to end these severe human rights violations.
This movement is dedicated to inspiring women to unite in order to protect your home from products that may contain modern slavery, and uplift the next generation. Through circular leadership, the movement aims to unite a global community of women and families, empowering them to take a stand against modern slavery and work together towards a future where such injustices no longer exist.

Petition to for Supply Chain Transparency Labeling
To: The United States Congress, Department of Labor, and Relevant Federal Agencies
We, the undersigned, demand immediate action to establish systems and legislation that prioritize transparency, justice, and accountability in global and domestic economic practices. Specifically, we call for:
1. Implementation of a Supply Chain Transparency System
We demand the establishment of a mandatory Supply Chain Transparency Labeling System for all products sold in the United States. This system should:
-
Require all companies to disclose their full supply chain for imported and domestically produced goods.
-
Use a color-coded labeling system to indicate the level of risk in their supply chains regarding forced labor, child labor, and environmental degradation:
-
Red: High risk of unethical practices.
-
Yellow: Moderate risk, with transparency issues or questionable practices.
-
Green: Fully transparent and free of forced labor, child labor, or environmental harm.
This system will empower consumers to make informed, ethical purchasing decisions and hold corporations accountable for supply chain abuses.
-
2. Enactment of Labor Laundering Laws
We demand the creation of federal legislation to prosecute labor laundering—the practice of concealing forced labor, child labor, and unethical practices within supply chains. This law must:
-
Recognize labor laundering as a global criminal act, akin to money laundering, with equivalent consequences, including asset and fund seizures.
-
Establish mechanisms to investigate and prosecute corporations, intermediaries, and supply chain actors who facilitate labor laundering.
-
Direct recovered assets toward initiatives that combat modern slavery, support survivors, and promote supply chain transparency.
3. Recognition of Caste and Class-Based Economic Genocide
We demand that the definition of genocide under U.S. law and international frameworks be expanded to include economic genocide—the systematic oppression, marginalization, and exploitation of caste and class-based groups. Specifically, we call for the recognition of the Uday caste and class groups as victims of economic genocide. This will ensure their protection under international human rights law and hold perpetrators accountable for systemic economic violence.
4. Codification of Ecocide and Rights for Earth’s Resources
We demand the United States formally recognize ecocide as a crime and advocate for its inclusion in international law. This recognition must:
-
Establish legal protections for Earth's resources, ensuring their rights to be protected from pollution, depletion, and unsustainable exploitation.
-
Prosecute individuals, corporations, and governments responsible for large-scale environmental destruction.
-
Promote policies that align with the principles of sustainable development, environmental stewardship, and intergenerational equity.
Why This Matters
-
Supply chain transparency will combat the exploitation of vulnerable populations, reduce modern slavery, and promote ethical consumerism.
-
Labor laundering laws will dismantle criminal networks profiting from forced labor and child labor, ensuring justice for victims.
-
Recognizing economic genocide will bring visibility and accountability to the systemic oppression of marginalized caste and class groups like the Uday.
-
Ecocide laws will safeguard Earth's resources for future generations, combat climate change, and promote environmental justice.
